Is there a way to change the iPod Classic split-screen?
My poor little 5G video iPod is dead and has to be replaced.
I've been googling the question, but the only information I can find is from 2007. Has the Classic been upgraded since then to disable the feature? There seem to be a lot of people who also dislike it - maybe there's a user-made program out there to change the settings? Everyone's attention is on the iPod Touch and the iPhone these days, so any help would be appreciated.
(And to head off the "lol get a Zune"s, I looked at them already. The radio feature is nice, but I don't need the socal junk and I want to be able to download music through iTunes.)
unfortunately there is no way to change that... a sansa is a really good mp3 and mp4 player and even has a feature to add more memory via a memory card that an ipod doesn't but on the other hand you cant use itunes with a sansa...good luck

What is the best way to use my zune in my car WITHOUT an fm transmitter?
I have a zune and i want to be able to use my zune in the car without an fm transmitter, right now i do have a cable running to the aux port on my radio and it works fine but messes up occasionally. Is there away to do it so i can control what music plays through the radio interface though. I have seen the IME product but its expensive so im looking for other options
it's pretty easy to get a tape converter (basically a blank tape with a cable coming out of it that will plug into the headphone jack on your zune). this works perfectly with my 90's car + zune. however, this will only work if your car has a tape player obviously.
