How to install Airbus Collection :Long Haul?
I have installed it into fsx. The model of the aircraft and everything else is working except for the panel. It doesn't display the instruments. It's just a blank panel. How can I get it to show all the instruments like air speed indicator, Altitude indicator....
When you unzip all the files from the Airbus, you placed the aircraft folder into the aircraft folder in FSX. However, for the panel to work, if it's a custom panel, you will have to install the gauges. Look in your unzipped folder for the plane. You should see a folder for gauges. Open it up and you'll see a bunch of files in there. Copy all of the files and paste them into the main gauges folder in the FSX directory. That should solve your problem. If not, then read the "read me" file that should also be in your unzipped folder.

Emergency LANDing in Field Kitfox Airplane No Airpseed indicator
any help is appreciated, i got confused on this problem for some reason?
The compass of an aircraft indicates that it is heading due east, and its airspeed indicator shows that it is moving through the air at 150 km/hr. After flying 2 hours the aircraft is 380 km E and 34 km south of its starting point. What is the magnitude and direction of the wind velocity?
If there was no wind it would be 300km Eof its starting point, so the tailwind component is (380-300)/2=40 kph. The north-south component is 34/2=17kph. So the direction of the wind is towards arctan 17/40= 23 degrees south of east; that is a bearing of 113 degrees. Its magnitude is given by Pythagoras; SQR((17^2)+(40^2))=43.5kph.
