Where can i buy an airplane?

I am interested in purchasing an airplane or helicopter. My limit is 300 thousand dollars. What are some websites that I can view classifieds for airplanes? The airplane needs to have a minimum of 6 seats and some storage space for luggage. My family and I usually fly to Atlanta on the weekends or Florida. My old plane finally broke down so that is why I ask this question. Any websites will be fine. thanks!
Yes I am into flying but the last plane i got was from a buddy of mine. I have never had to get online considering i bought my old plane in 1987.

I would suggest that you look on both http://www.aso.com/ and http://www.controller.com/ that would be a good place to start.
Good luck with your purchase!

What are the ownership costs associated with N-Numbered Ultralights?

I know they're technically not ultralights if they have an N-Number, but you get the idea.

I obtained my Private Pilot Certificate 2 yrs ago and haven't flown since. I want to get back into flying, but cheaply and intelligently. I've considered purchasing an old 172 or the like, but maintenance, inspections, and insurance costs have always been a little steep for my wallet.

I just saw an ad in the local classifieds for a Quicksilver MX with an N-Number. Says it's good for building cheap flying time. Sounds like it would fit the bill just fine, but I am unfamiliar with requirements and regulations associated with something like this.

What type of annual inspections need to be done? Is insurance required? Can flight time be logged as regular PIC time just the same as say a 172? Any other items to note?

Just trying to get a general idea of what the costs of ownership as well as pros/cons of a N-Number converted ultralight are vs a traditional airplane.

If it has an N number, then it has the same requirements for maintenance, inspections, insurance, etc as any other N Numbered aircraft. A Quicksilver MX with an N-Number would fall into the light sport aircraft (LSA) category.

The basic difference is that with a Quicksilver, the entire aircraft is simpler and less expensive to operate. Your per-flying-hour costs would be less than a Cessna 172 or similar general aviation aircraft, and when you're through flying for the day, you can fold up the wings, put the whole thing inside a trailer, and take it home with you.
