difference between block heater and radiator heater?
it gets well below zere here and i park outside. i have heard of a block heater to warm the oil, but what is a radiator heater (plug-in)? what is better?
i own a repair shop,and the block heater is always better it keeps the anti freeze warm and the oil,they just work better because of where their located at the ones that go in the radiator are alright ,but given a choice id take the block heater ,your vehicle will warm up a lot better also with a good block heater,and they out last the other ones ,good luck i hope this help,s.

How do i install a block heater on a 2003 Pontiac sun fire?

One thing you can do is get a heated dip stick to warm the oil up. Or ya can get a freeze out plug with a cord attached that heats the water. Look, any garage will install the freeze out plug type for about $30-$50 bucks
